Kids’ Food Basket’s mission is to nourish children to reach their full potential. The organization services West Michigan through its flagship Sack Supper program, sustainable farming, community food distribution and educational programming.

When capacity and funding allow, KFB staff analyzes the most up-to-date data to determine our next service location. As every school has children who are experiencing food insecurity, our goal is to identity where our resources will have the greatest individual and community impact. Weekend Meal Program
In FY24, KFB expanded its weekend meals to provide 5,400 meals each weekend at eight schools in Kent Count
Learn Team Participation
4,400 students participated in our nutrition education programming provided by our Learn team.

- Partnership with Ridge Point Community Church
- Received MDARD Specialty Crops grant to promote fresh, locally grown produce and provide nutrition education on the lakeshore.
